Anyway, here's the mechanism.  When cells are damaged, only 20% of the radiation directly hits DNA's, and 80% are harmed indirectly by active oxygen or free radical that is caused by radiation through water in H2O

Even if abnormalities occur genetically after being heavily irradiated, genes will normalize again.

It is really a good news that genes can be normalized again even after heavy damages.  Look at this chart with the horizontal axis showing the amount of Vitamin C taken, and the virtical axis the amount of cancer cells!

Vitamin C has a powerful antioxidant potential.

To the extent that there's a limit of sufficient intake of Vitamin C from mouth, it may be efficient to use a catheter (apart from the critical case, such intakes seem to be just as much as one needs for anti^ageing treatment).

My name is Shuntaro Hida.

I am now the only doctor still alive in Japan

who has treated radioacitive patients

since the atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima.

Therefore, I am the only one who was

actually exposed to the atomic bomb,

and have seen patients both of external and internal exposure to radiation.

I have been seeing the patients in the past 66 years.

I have been the only doctor in the organization

called HIDANKYO (Japan Confederation of A-and H-bomb Sufferers Organizations),

and the doctors all over Japan have consulted me.

The number of patients I have met in person,

diagoniing with my stethoscope, listening to, is at least 6000.

Among them are some survivors still alive

desite the horrible external exposure to radiation.

But I have also seen a number of patients suffering from inexplicable very difficult symptoms

due to internal exposure,

They haven't been treated as a Hibakusha.

Because nothing special was observed form the outside,

they haven't been treated as independent human beings,

and left with discrimination in the society.

Recently, I'm often asked from people abroad

why Japan with experiences of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
bombings

has built so many as 53 nuclear power plants along the coast
regardless of the frequent earthquakes.

People called "experts" also speak of the same.

They talk about the fact, but

Nobody talks why this situation occurred.

Viewing it from Hiroshima all these years, the only reason is obvious.

The US Army that occupied Japan issued the statement of military secrets,

and told the Hibakusha's never to tell or write the truth.

They also demanded that medical doctors were only allowed to diagonose the patients, for the nature of the job

but were prohibited from recording the diagnoses, writing a thesis, or copying it.

Also, the Japanese medical society was strictly prohibited from studying radiation.

Anyone violating these rules should be subject to infamous under the occupation forces.

Since the announcement of the statement, Hibakusha's kept silent, and doctors quit recording their diagnoses.

That's why, there is no proper record of true damages

of radiation the Hibakusha's have been experiencing.

So, there are no materials for the Government or doctors today to learn about those days.

I have visited some 30 countries to talk on internal exposure symptoms, to local doctors and academics.

I am asked "Why is it you, as an individual doctor, talk about it?"

"Isn't there any documents issued by the Government?"

I answer, "There's no such a thing."

The reason is, America occupied Japan for 7 years,

and the Japanese Government that succeeded the US occupation,

signed the Japan-US Security Treaty, a military agreement,

by which Japan is not allowed to record anything related to the US nuclear weapons.

So, the Government cannot tell the truth.

I have walked through abroad with such speaches.

When I first heard of the Fukushima Daiichi accident,

My first worry was

that so terrible things have happened to

both kids and parents, or anyone who were affected by TEPCO's radiation

The radioactivities are mixture

of Uranium and Plutonium used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Due to the nature of radioactivities,

People in Fukushima in future will naturally experience

the symptoms which those in Hiroshima and Naggasaki went through with.

Then when will it occur?  From experiences of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,

we saw many various internal-exposure symptoms and got completely lost for the causes

about a year from the bombing.

The symptoms were begininng to arise in six months.

Therefore, there will be many people from this March (2012)

who will suffer from very misterious symptoms.

Unfortunately, there is no doctor in Japanese medical field

who can kindly treat such patients.

Probably, they will leave the patients saying you have nothing wrong.

As the patients from HIroshima and Nagasaki were

left out even at University Hospitals, being told you have no illness.

But they were unable to work.

They were "killed" by the society with the name "Bura-Bura Byo".

I am worried that the same thing may happen again.

Japan - from the top to the bottom - is totally ignorant.

They know nothing about the true radiation damages

from the atomic bombs that caused the tremendous disasters.

Maybe people know the fact that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed.

But under the mushroom clouds,

or those who breathed or consumed radioactivities inside the bodies

How hard lives they have had to live in the past 66 years

is not known at all.

I believe this is totally America's responsibility.

To make it clear, I do not hate American citizens.

But I cannot forgive the guys who first made the atomic bombs

and who first planned the marder by the atomic bombs

More accidents will definitely occur.

That's why, with a couple more accidents,

Japan will be demolished.

It is such a grave situation

which the Government would never think.

So-called "experts" say there's no problem.

I really want to despise them.

Please, you in the media, note that

damages from radiation are

so terrible things that could endanger human beings

Please keep it in mind and

treat any small matter seriously.

Today, I also reviewed the latest video by Mr and Mrs Gundersen of Fairewinds Associates.  Mr Gundersen is more serious than in any past video about the worst scenario of Fukushima Daiichi, or rather about the world's destiny if not just Japan.  He even talks about the smartgrid and attempts to persuade the Japanese "economy" to take this opportunity to show the technological strength for new energy as soon as possible.

Nature - the Magazine, copies Words of Pro-Nuke Interests

Nature, the reputed science magazine, has been finally "bought" by the pro-nuke interest groups and begun to speak as if the disasters from radiation which we have been learning through even real friends do not exist in Japan.  Officially (meaning according to the mainstream media), in Japan, nobody has died in Fukushima for radiation over the past 14 months after the over-Chernobyl level accident occurred, and the Government acted even more irresponsibly than the then-USSR.

They even prepared the video to show Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant as if everything is going well toward settlement.  The tone of the narration sounds as rhythmical as NHK newscasters.  The major media worldwide (even anti-American regions) are obviously under control of the huge amount of money connected to the nuclear industry.

We can check real Fukushima-Daiichi workers' tweets everyday, and our concern regarding the great probability of the hopeless explosion of Unit 4 Fuel Pool (containing 1535 fuel rods; plus over 10 thousand in the premises) has never been wiped out.  Those workers are not virtual, but real as our trusted independent web journalist, Yasumi Iwakami interviewed them live.

According to Arnie Gundersen, the greatest danger has always been Unit 4 for this reason, and it is impossible that the US Government is ignorant about it.  The reason operation of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant was suspended by the former prime minister Naoto Kan so easily is sait to be the pressure from the US as it threatens logistics of their army with its base in Yokosuka, too close to Hamaoka.

Few people will develop cancer as a consequence of being exposed to the radioactive material that spewed from Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant last year — and those who do will never know for sure what caused their disease. These conclusions are based on two comprehensive, independent assessments of the radiation doses received by Japanese citizens, as well as by the thousands of workers who battled to bring the shattered nuclear reactors under control.

Threat from Fukushima Daiichi #4 Fuel Pool to Earth (TheAlexJonesShow)

TheAlexJonesChannel reported on the worldwide danger from the threat of Fukushima Daiichi Unit 4 Reactor's Fuel Pool - finally in this sort of English media (as far as I know).

In the first few minutes, the host, Mike Adams sums up what's been going on, and we can see his awareness obviously came from words by Mr Sumio Mabuchi (which Adams calls "pretty decent guy), the only one minister of the cabinet who entered inside the nuclear reactor building to see and seek for solution to maintain the Unit 4 fuel pool which contains over 1500 fuel rods (over-crowded) hung from the tilted wall of the already-exploded building.  Adams also mentions Mr Kohei Murata, a former ambassador to Switzerland, and possibly Akio Matsumura.

Mr Mabuchi, from civil engineering sector, directed the construction to reinforce the fuel pool (though TEPCO uninterrupted not to let him take safer but more costly solution using concrete under the unstably hung fuel pool).  Former Prime Minister, Naoto Kan appointed Mabuchi for this job knowing his background.  Mabuchi was believed to become the next prime minister, but in the last minute, the least likely candidate, Yoshio Noda got the position.

The Noda cabinet has made everything worse.  Kan was basically anti-nuke, and declared the departure from reliance on nuclear power plants albeit in exchange with his resignation.  Noda, however, brought everything back to serve electric allies and his boss, the US.  Without rescuing the Fukushima evacuees yet, all he talks about is how and when to resume operation of other nuclear power plants.  

For most of us wishing a Zero Nuke society and planet, he is such an airhead that he doesn't even realize all he's doing is just destroy his own nation.  We have usually had incapable prime ministers, as we voters are not good enough, but I have never held this much fury against one politician.  We really must eliminate this guy from the government.

The Fukushima Diary reports today that Koichi Oyama, a member of the city council of Minamisoma in the prefecture of Fukushima, has measured unusually high levels of cesium 134 and 137 in the soil of his city.

Soil samples were analyzed by the Minamisoma government and found to be 122 times more contaminated than the mandatory evacuation zone in Belarus north of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

Cesium causes cancer of the liver, kidneys, pancreas and other organs. It is particularly dangerous when it is in the soil and ends up in food.

In March, it was reported that cesium was detected in plankton 600 kilometers east of the Fukushima facility, according to a Japan-U.S. joint research team.

26 years on: helping Chernobyl's children - Can't believe CNN's underestimation of Fukushima Daiichi (1/14 Chernobyl???)

Japanese authority and the phxxking mass media have completely ignored what many people in the contaminated areas should learn from the Chernobyl victims.  Instead, they are bringing trivial articles to spend out the valuable public waves and time just to make the people forget about Fukushima tragedy which is still going on of course, and the real danger is to begin in just a few years!  They may think not each one has to be responsible for anything that will occur only they've left the office, but I'm one of those who strongly wish to make each individual responsible for increasing casualties go to prison for life sentences.

That said, hey, I can't believe why CNN making so light of Fukushima catastrophe?  Chernobyl explosion was 14 times greater than Fukushima?? How so?  It should be the comparison between the cumulative victims and the internal-exposed (not yet ill for the next few years) in Japan.

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident was already "ranked" the worst such in history in many ways including the total amount of the fuel in the six reactors and fuel pools.  Reactor #4 fuel pool is hung on the crippled building that could collapse any time if hit by another big earthquake.  The building is tilted (80cm depth difference between south and north walls).  The 30-40mil Tokyo Metropolitan residents are subject to serious internal-exposure to radiation surrounded by hotspot zones with hot particles everywhere.

Aside from the potential health hazards of living in an area contaminated with radiation, domino socioeconomic effects have caused multiple problems in these regions.
Chernobyl Children International, or CCI, works to help kids in the region whose lives have been impacted by a disaster that happened years before they were born. Many suffer from physical problems such as congenital heart defects. Many kids have chronic illnesses or disabilities, and many live full time in institutions.

Fukushima - Could 85 Times More Cesium than Chernobyl be Released?

As Kavin Kamps tells (and quite a few experts have been saying),  even without earthquakes, there are fundamental structure problems in the General Electric nuclear reactors.

It is just that GE and nuke interests have too much power for coverage by mainstream media including MSNBC (Microsoft is a 100% subsidiary of GE).

We strongly believe that Tokyo is heavily radioactively contaminated (let alone Fukushima or Koriyama cities), and the soil cannot be good enough to endanger youngest and weakest .

Russia Stunned After Japanese Plan To Evacuate 40 Million Revealed

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by theForeign Ministry on the planned re-opening of talks with Japan over the disputed Kuril Islands during the next fortnight states that Russian diplomats were “stunned” after being told by their Japanese counterparts that upwards of 40 million of their peoples were in “extreme danger” of life threatening radiation poisoning and could very well likely be faced with forced evacuations away from their countries eastern most located cities… including the world’s largest one, Tokyo.

The Kuril Islands are located in Russia’s Sakhalin Oblast region and stretch approximately 1,300 km (810 miles) northeast from Hokkaidō, Japan, to Kamchatka, Russia, separating the Sea of Okhotsk from the North Pacific Ocean. There are 56 islands and many more minor rocks. It consists of Greater Kuril Ridge and Lesser Kuril Ridge, all of which were captured by Soviet Forces in the closing days of World War II from the Japanese.

The “extreme danger” facing tens of millions of the Japanese peoples is the result of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster that was a series of equipment failures, nuclear meltdowns, and releases of radioactive materials at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, following the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011.

According to this report, Japanese diplomats have signaled to their Russian counterparts that the returning of the Kuril Islands to Japan is “critical” as they have no other place to resettle so many people that would, in essence, become the largest migration of human beings since the 1930’s when Soviet leader Stalin forced tens of millions to resettle Russia’s far eastern regions.

Important to note, this report continues, are that Japanese diplomats told their Russian counterparts that they were, also, “seriously considering” an offer by China to relocate tens of millions of their citizens to the Chinese mainland to inhabit what are called the “ghost cities,” built for reasons still unknown and described, in part, by London’s Daily Mail News Service in their 18 December 2010 article titled: “The Ghost Towns Of China: Amazing Satellite Images Show Cities Meant To Be Home To Millions Lying Deserted” that says:

“These amazing satellite images show sprawling cities built in remote parts of China that have been left completely abandoned, sometimes years after their construction. Elaborate public buildings and open spaces are completely unused, with the exception of a few government vehicles near communist authority offices. Some estimates put the number of empty homes at as many as 64 million, with up to 20 new cities being built every year in the country’s vast swathes of free land.”

Foreign Ministry experts in this report note that should Japan accept China’s offer, the combined power of these two Asian peoples would make them the largest super-power in human history with an economy larger than that of the United States and European Union combined and able to field a combined military force of over 200 million.

To how dire the situation is in Japan was recently articulated by Japanese diplomat Akio Matsumura who warned that the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant may ultimately turn into an event capable of extinguishing all life on Earth.

According to the Prison Planet News Service:

“Matsumura posted [this] startling entry on his blog following a statement made by Japan’s former ambassador to Switzerland, Mitsuhei Murata, on the situation at Fukushima.

Speaking at a public hearing of the Budgetary Committee of the House of Councilors on 22 March 2012, Murata warned that “if the crippled building of reactor unit 4 – with 1,535 fuel rods in the spent fuel pool 100 feet (30 meters) above the ground – collapses, not only will it cause a shutdown of all six reactors but will also affect the common spent fuel pool containing 6,375 fuel rods, located some 50 meters from reactor 4,” writes Matsumura.

In both cases the radioactive rods are not protected by a containment vessel; dangerously, they are open to the air. This would certainly cause a global catastrophe like we have never before experienced. He stressed that the responsibility of Japan to the rest of the world is immeasurable. Such a catastrophe would affect us all for centuries. Ambassador Murata informed us that the total numbers of the spent fuel rods at the Fukushima Daiichi site excluding the rods in the pressure vessel is 11,421.”

Disturbingly, the desperate situation facing Japan is, also, facing the United States as Russian military observersoverflying the US this week as part of the Open Skies Treaty are reporting “unprecedented” amounts of radiation in the Western regions of that country, a finding that was further confirmed by scientists with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute who have confirmed that a wave of highly radioactive waste is headed directly for the US west coast.

Important to note is that this new wave of Fukushima radiation headed towards the US is in addition to earlier radiation events that American scientists are now blaming for radioactive particles from Japan being detected in California kelp.

Though the news of this ongoing global catastrophe is still being heavily censored in the US, the same cannot be said about Japan, and as recently reported by the leading Japanese newspaper The Mainichi Daily News that reports:

“One of the biggest issues that we face is the possibility that the spent nuclear fuel pool of the No. 4 reactor at the stricken Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant will collapse. This is something that experts from both within and outside Japan have pointed out since the massive quake struck. TEPCO, meanwhile, says that the situation is under control. However, not only independent experts, but also sources within the government say that it’s a grave concern.

The storage pool in the No. 4 reactor building has a total of 1,535 fuel rods, or 460 tons of nuclear fuel, in it. The 7-story building itself has suffered great damage, with the storage pool barely intact on the building’s third and fourth floors. The roof has been blown away. If the storage pool breaks and runs dry, the nuclear fuel inside will overheat and explode, causing a massive amount of radioactive substances to spread over a wide area. Both the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and French nuclear energy company Areva have warned about this risk.

A report released in February by the Independent Investigation Commission on the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident stated that the storage pool of the plant’s No. 4 reactor has clearly been shown to be “the weakest link” in the parallel, chain-reaction crises of the nuclear disaster. The worse-case scenario drawn up by the government includes not only the collapse of the No. 4 reactor pool, but the disintegration of spent fuel rods from all the plant’s other reactors. If this were to happen, residents in the Tokyo metropolitan area would be forced to evacuate.”

Even though this crisis in Japan has been described as “a nuclear war without a war” and the US Military is being reported is now stocking up on massive amounts of anti-radiation pills in preparation for nuclear fallout, there remains no evidence at all the ordinary peoples are being warned about this danger in any way whatsoever.

At this point, most of the Japanese - even many active Twitter members haven't seen the true picture (video) of the explosion of Reactor #3 in Fukushima Daiichi.  Those few of us thought it was nuclear explosion, but Mr Gundersen thinks it is kind of hydrogen explosion.  (Later, his explanation changed slightly.)

Deadly Silence on Fukushima

I received the following email a few days ago from a Russian nuclear physicist friend who is an expert on the kinds of gases being released at Fukushima. Here is what he wrote:

About Japan: the problem is that the reactor uses "dirty" fuel. It is a combination of plutonium and uranium (MOX). I suspect that the old fuel rods have bean spread out due to the explosion and the surrounding area is contaminated with plutonium which means you can never return to this place again. It is like a new Tchernobyl. Personally, I am not surprised that the authority has not informed people about this.

I have been following the Fukushima story very closely since the earthquake and devastating tsunami. I have asked scientists I know, nuclear physicists and others about where they find real information. I have also watched as the news has virtually disappeared. There is something extremely disturbing going on, and having lived through the media blackout in France back in April and early May 1986, and speaking to doctors who are deeply concerned by the dramatic increase in cancers appearing at very young ages, it is obvious that information is being held back. We are still told not to eat mushrooms and truffles from parts of Europe, not wild boar and reindeer from Germany and Finland 25 years later.

A special thanks to people like European Representative Michele Rivasi, who has followed this issue since Chernobyl: Rivasi, a Green MEP and founder of France's Commission for Independent Research and Information on Radioactivity, told EurActiv that she was worried the tests would cover up nuclear risks and reinstate business as usual.

"It's very important to have scientists who are not already paid by the nuclear power industry," she said. "If they are the same people from Euratom and national authorities they use today, why would they say anything different to what they say all the time?"

One resource for information on Chernobyl deaths and cancers/illnesses was only just recently translated and can be found online: "Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment" by Alexey Yablokov, Vassily Nesterenko, and Alexey Nesterenko.

Arnie Gundersen was a high-level executive for years and analyzes the information he has been receiving in a calm and scientific way. His latest update is entitled, "Fukushima Groundwater Contamination Worst in Nuclear History." Gundersen is in touch with senior members of the Japanese nuclear establishment. What is highly disturbing is that the main reason Japan does not appear to be as bad a Chernobyl is that the wind was blowing out to sea and not for the most part towards land. But all this has done is spread the cancers out into the worldwide population as opposed to concentrating it all in Japan. It will be very difficult to tell, as it was in France, Scandinavia and other places, where the Chernobyl cloud traveled in the days following the disaster. I will summarize some of Gunderson's very disturbing and important information here:

1. There was a hydrogen explosion, and it was a detonation, not a deflagration -- in other words the fire burned up not burned down.

2. A frame-by-frame analysis shows a flame that confirms that the fuel pool is burning as a result of an explosion which started as a hydrogen explosion but that could not have lifted the fuel into the air so there must have been a violent explosion at the bottom of the fuel pool. But more data is needed.

3. Gunderson speaks about past criticalities in other nuclear reactors around the world, and I find it odd we are not hearing about these and how they can teach us about what is going on now at Fukushima.

4. Radioactive water is being pumped out and groundwater is contaminated, so there must be a leak or leaks, and this disaster is in no way contained. There will be contamination for a long time to come and this groundwater contamination is moving inland. One town is reporting radioactive sewage sludge from ground water or rainwater.

5. The Greenpeace ship Rainbow water has requested the Japanese government to test the waters near Japan, and Japan has refused this independent data request. The EPA has also shut down all inspection centers and is NOT inspecting fish. (Why the silence?)

Since Gunderson made this latest video, just a day or so ago new photo evidence seems to be showing burning and new fires taking place at Fukushima (from TBS JNN Japan):

Why is this not on the front page of every single newspaper in the world? Why are official agencies not measuring from many places around the world and reporting on what is going on in terms of contamination every single day since this disaster happened? Radioactivity has been being released now for almost two full months! Even small amounts when released continuously, and in fact especially continuous exposure to small amounts of radioactivity, can cause all kinds of increases in cancers.

One reason no one is reporting on this nor allowed to go inside the exclusion zone nor even measure the waters off of Japan is because of the following compiled by Makiko Segawa, a staff writer at the Shingetsu News Agency. She prepared this report from Fukushima and Tokyo for www.japanfocus.org:

Freelance journalists and foreign media are pursuing the facts, even going into the radiation exclusion zone. However, surprisingly, the Japan government continues to prevent freelance journalists and overseas media from gaining access to official press conferences at the prime minister's house and government.

Uesugi stated that since March 11th, the government has excluded all internet media and all foreign media from official press conferences on the "Emergency Situation." While foreign media have scrambled to gather information about the Fukushima Reactor, they have been denied access to the direct information provided by the government and one consequence of this is that "rumor-rife news has been broadcast overseas."

In fact, access has been limited in two ways. First, while Chief Cabinet Secretary Edano Yukio holds twice daily press conferences for representatives of the big Japanese media, registered representatives of freelance and internet media are limited to a single press conference per week. Second, in contrast to Japanese media who are briefed regularly by Edano and periodically by Prime Miniser Kan, foreign media are briefed exclusively by administrative staff.
Uesugi also notes that at TEPCO press conferences, which are now being held at company headquarters, foreign correspondents and Japanese freelancers regularly ask probing questions while mainstream journalists simply record and report company statements reiterating that the situation is basically under control and there is nothing to worry about. One reason for this, Uesugi suggests, is that TEPCO, a giant media sponsor, has an annual 20 billion yen advertising budget. "The media keeps defending the information from TEPCO!" "The Japanese media today is no different from the wartime propaganda media that kept repeating to the very end that 'Japan is winning the war against America,'" Uesugi exclaimed.
There is one particularly telling example of the media shielding TEPCO by suppressing information. This concerns "plutonium." According to Uesugi, after the reactor blew up on March 14, there was concern about the leakage of plutonium. However, astonishingly, until two weeks later when Uesugi asked, not a single media representative had raised the question of plutonium at TEPCO's press conferences.

On March 26, in response to Uesugi's query, TEPCO stated, "We do not measure the level of plutonium and do not even have a detector to scale it." Ironically, the next day, Chief Cabinet Secretary Edano announced that "plutonium was detected."

When TEPCO finally released data on radioactive plutonium on March 28, it stated that plutonium -238, -239, and -240 were found in the ground, but insisted that it posed no human risk. Since TEPCO provided no clarification of the meaning of the plutonium radiation findings, the mainstream press merely reported the presence of the radiation without assessment (link). Nippon Television on March 29 headlined its interview with Tokyo University Prof. Nakagawa Keiichi, a radiation specialist, "Plutonium from the power plant--No effect on neighbors."

On March 15, Uesugi criticized TEPCO for its closed attitude toward information on a TBS radio program. For this, he was immediately dismissed from his regular program. The scandal involving TEPCO's silencing of the media took an interesting turn two weeks later. At the time of the disaster on March 11, TEPCO Chairman Katsumata Tsunehisa was hosting dozens of mainstream media executives on a "study session" in China. When asked about this fact by freelance journalist Tanaka Ryusaku at a TEPCO press conference on March 30, Katsumata defended the practice.

"It is a fact that we traveled together to China," he said. "[TEPCO] did not pay all the expenses of the trip, but we paid more than they did. Certainly they are executives of the mass media, but they are all members of the study session."

When Tanaka requested the names of the media executives hosted by TEPCO in China, Katsumata retorted, "I cannot reveal their names since this is private information." But it is precisely such collusive relations between mainstream media, the government and TEPCO, that results in the censorship of information concerning nuclear problems.

Now the Japanese government has moved to crack down on independent reportage and criticism of the government's policies in the wake of the disaster by deciding what citizens may or may not talk about in public. A new project team has been created by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication, the National Police Agency, and METI to combat "rumors" deemed harmful to Japanese security in the wake of the Fukushima disaster."

We need to demonstrate and write to our representatives and demand that measuring be done around the world continuously. Fukushima's nuclear disaster is still going on. People need accurate information to protect themselves. Macrobiotic Diet Prevents Radiation Sickness Among A-Bomb Survivors in Japan - In August, 1945, at the time of the atomic bombing of Japan, Tatsuichiro Akizuki, M.D., was director of the Department of Internal Medicine at St. Francis's Hospital in Nagasaki. Most patients in the hospital, located one mile from the center of the blast, survived the initial effects of the bomb, but soon after came down with symptoms of radiation sickness from the fallout that had been released. Dr. Akizuki fed his staff and patients a strict macrobiotic diet of brown rice, miso soup, wakame and other sea vegetables, Hokkaido pumpkin, and sea salt and prohibited the consumption of sugar and sweets. As a result, he saved everyone in his hospital, while many other survivors in the city perished from radiation sickness.

I gave the cooks and staff strict orders that they should make unpolished whole-grain rice balls, adding some salt to them, prepare strong miso soup for each meal, and never use sugar. When they didn't follow my orders, I scolded them without mercy, 'Never take sugar. Sugar will destroy your blood!'...

This dietary method made it possible for me to remain alive and go on working vigorously as a doctor. The radioactivity may not have been a fatal dose, but thanks to this method, Brother Iwanaga, Reverend Noguchi, Chief Nurse Miss Murai, other staff members and in-patients, as well as myself, all kept on living on the lethal ashes of the bombed ruins. It was thanks to this food that all of us could work for people day after day, overcoming fatigue or symptoms of atomic disease and survive the disaster" free from severe symptoms of radioactivity.

People need answers, data and honest information to help them deal with what is going on. Media blackouts, propaganda and greedy self-interested industries, of any kind, who allow human beings' health to be affected, and deaths to occur, must be stopped now. That senior TEPCO man and the leading nuclear academic in Japan did not break down crying and resign their positions because all was well at Fukushima. Think about it world, and act now before it is too late.
